Had the burnt out door lock motor problem - and a battery going flat. So the RF Reciever seems likely to be the problem. Can I just replace the RF reciever with one from ebay - or is it more complex than that? Trevor

I seem to have a similar problem - and was thinking of buying a syncmate. However my engine check light comes on normally. Am I correct to think that loss of sync would cause the engine check light to NOT illuminate on the DSE?
