I had the same problem a year ago - I made one from a door hinge and a steel bracket. Not difficult, just needed a drill and hacksaw or grinder. Took about half an hour and cost a fiver. See attached pic.

Worth looking at the stop gate though - mine was rusted right through and 1st was a total pig. Made a new one out of a door hinge and it works a treat.

Well I didn't have any luck tracking down a cheap stop - so I made one! A 2 quid door hinge and an hour with the drill and grinder and voila. And amazingly it even works when I fitted it!

Anyone have a reverse stop hinge assembly for a late S3 diesel I could buy? I can't see any used ones on eBay or what have you and the dealer part is pretty steep, I'm skint :(
