Hi The lights on the back of my 300 tdi are not working properly. On the left side the lights work when they are switched on, but the brake light does not work. And on the right side the lights dont work but the brake lights do but when you use the brake the lights on the left side go out...

Hi I have done some work on my 300 tdi including new lift pump, starter motor, fuel filter, glow plugs and glow plug timer relay however the glow plug light only stays on for about a second and then goes off so it winds over a lot before it starts. Any thoughts on how to get the glow plugs...

Apologies for my ignorance, but could you tell me how to locate the fuel pump and filter and how to 'check' it?? Would the spider stop fuel from getting the the engine if we didn't solder it properly? (however the car did work fine all day yestuday) Thanks for you reply

Thanks for the reply We did have a bad earth on the starter motor. Also had to re solder some connections on the 'spider'. Finally, running good!
