starter solenoid contacts

Hi

I have ordered some new solenoid contacts for my 300 tdi discovery, however I have no idea how to change them. I would appreciate a heads up on how to go about this.

disconnect battery neg terminal remove wires from top connector and bottom connector 2 bolts hold solenoid to starter remove solenoid change contacts,is possible on vehicle but easier with starter off

2 bolts using a 13mm spanner/socket and a 15mm ratchet with an extension to undo a nut nearest the engine
first disconnect the battery and then the two cables on the starter
i would advise to remove the starter
once removed three nuts on a cover using a 7mm spanner then change the contacts
my contacts came with instructions and the job took 2 hrs
