Just over the 159K on my 1999 TD5. Engine still seems sound (at the moment) and isn't puffing any amount of blue or black smoke (even at start up after 2 weeks away on holiday). Fires over first time every time... Wish the rest of the car was this reliable... :(

I had the same problem when one of the CD's was slightly thicker than the others and wouldn't let the tray move in and out. It just so happened I had it in the CD1 slot so on putting the cartridge back in it just wouldn't start up and allow me to change disk before switching back to the radio...

Totally agree. Was getting about 530 - 540 miles out of a full tank before blanking. Now it feels more responsive and I'm getting around 580 out of the tank in mixed motorway/urban driving. But do check with insurers as you don't want to be left high and dry. I still reckon the savings on...

Recently EGR blanked my 1999 TD5. Before blanking I used to get between 510 and 530(best was 538) out of a tank with a mix of motorway, A-road and urban driving. First time I filled up fully after the blanking I got 578 miles from 85 litres... well impressed. That sort of improvement will pay...
