mph/revs-what you getting?

following on from the pump tweak thread,what mph are you getting at certain revs-just curious,as some claim "can't get to 70"-others claim"can do 90"-what are you guys getting?
I did 80 mile trip on M way y'day and steady 70mph at 2500 revs-would happily pull further to 80 mph-had more left but did not want to push it.
As far as I know it is std gearing-Wots yours do?

I think i'm getting 70 @ 2700rpm approximately. I never paid too much attention! Could be complete bollocks!

I remember a few years ago someone said they got 115 mph out of a 300 auto. He got some **** taking after that

my disco 200 will cruise at 80 on the right roads, usually on the way home after a long day... normally stick to the speed limits though

my disco 300tdi 98 reg has got up to 92mph on the flat, it was a dual carriage way, so it was level and not bumpy. Still scared the bejesus outta me. Will do 70mph quite easily at about 2700 rpm.

my 200tdi sits nicely at 70 on m ways about 2500 rpm had it to 80 once or twice mainly down hill lol
and i can sit nicely at 60 with caravan mrs and 5 kids and all the rubish they bring think it was about 2500 to 2800 rpm

1999 TD5 with 158K on the clock. EGR Blanked

70 mph at 2600 rpm
80 mph at 3000 rpm

Measured mine properly against the sat nav.

2600rpm @ 70mph

My rev counter stopped working correctly, but I've seen a GPS verified 92mph out of my 200Tdi and it was still pulling.

This was on 33.11.50 Simex's.

I've got an rpm calculator which says that should have been 3250-3350rpm's or there abouts.

117mph on the clock in my disco 1 i had...obviously a V8

about 4k i think.

I'm getting about 275mpg at 19000rpm in my 200tdi.
