    Cubby box wet

I drilled a 12mm hole in N/S of box from bottom into cubby, it lets water out but does not stop it getting wet. i am convinced that a shield is needed between exhaust and floor, but i do admit to liking a wet box from time to time.

when it does not start, turn on ignition and listen for gurgling sounds(passenger side) or from lift pump under bonnet on passenger side wing. if it is there then in tank fuel pump is on way out. worth a try.

    bit more advice please

there are no special tools needed, a good socket set will do the job. you could leave the front, then you don't need to blank off the IRD.:welcome2: google Bell engineering, there is an explaination on there how to check IRD VCU etc.. cos i hate typing.
