wiper motor confused

I have a knackered wiper motor, does not park wipers, i drilled out the rivets on the motor, found that the park connectors were burned out and the plastic park area of the copper ring if all worn out. I bought what was described as a freelander wiper motor off fleabay, it arrived but is a valero unit with a totally different connector plug. does anyone know if this valero unit was fitted to freelanders as i cant seem to find any info on it. and can i convert wiring to allow it to run in my freelander. or have i been ripped off by fleabay.?
