    Wing mirrors not folding in

We have a 2004 L322 Vogue a when we try and fold the wing mirrors in (i.e. park them)(we have a narrow driveway) they fold back and then ‘bounce’ open again. Any ideas what the problem is and how it may be corrected? The ‘angle down on reverse’ on the nearside mirror works ok btw. Any advice...

Fitting window into carrier on a 1993 Vogue SE.

That's great thanks Modelman, we were working along the right lines (albeit with the glass still inside the door) but didn't give it quite enough "whack".

Fitting window into carrier on a 1993 Vogue SE.

We have a 1993 3.9 litre petrol/LPG Vogue SE. The window carrier channel in the front nearside door rusted through and failed and we have obtained a replacement from Famous Four (next day service, excellent). We’re having difficulty, however fitting the window into the carrier. There is a...

    LPG classic, reliable?

One thing to consider is the length of your typical journey. You should run the car on petrol until the engine is warm, so if many of your journeys are short you'll be on petrol much of the time and not see the potential savings. Other than that LPG is great in our 1993 Vogue SE,.

    Alpine Head Unit installation angle

Thanks Simon. The reason why I'm looking to install this particular unit is that I'm considering transferring it from my Rover 75 so I can control an iPod from the HU. There's actually an Alpine HU in it at the moment and the only problem we have with that is that it is sometimes reluctant to...

    Alpine Head Unit installation angle

I'm considering installing an ALPINE CDE-9850Ri HU in a Ranger Rover Classic (1993). However the Alpine manual says that the HU should not be installed more than 30 degrees from the horizontal whereas the opening in the RR is around 60 deg. Does anybody have any experience in installing this HU...

Reconditioned Engine for 1993 Vogue SE

Your comments are an great help. My garage have discussed liners with me because my RR has LPG and at the moment the engine has very fine hair line cracks in it so it might be Turners after all. Many thanks!

Reconditioned Engine for 1993 Vogue SE

My 1993 3.9 litre engine has a crack in one of its cylinders. I'm considering replacing it with a reconditioned unit from ultimategowns uk aka V&J Engineering (item 280041255358 on eBay) for £1000. Turner, who have been recommended elsewhere on this forum, charge about twice this figure. Has...

Replacement speakers in a 1993 Classic

To offer some information that may be of help to others - We have fitted JBL GTO506ce Component Speakers - the woofer into the lower speaker location with minimal modification to the door panel and the tweeter to the triangular panel to the front of the window and JBL GTO426e 4" Speakers...

Replacement speakers in a 1993 Classic

I’ve just tried to fit some JBL GTO426e 4" Speakers into the front door of a 1993 RR Classic (the uppermost speaker) and although the speaker diameter and fixings are spot on the magnet is too large a diameter for the rebate. Can anybody suggest any speakers which might fit please?
