mine did that for a while after nene serviced it and replaced the FUEL FILTER. once I got all the air out and tightened it all up it was fine and has been ever since., CHECK THE FUEL FILTER!

that would be my guess too. Try disconnecting the aerial at the CB end and see if you still suffer probs.
