ok, ive looked at all the other threads and im still confused... the back end was dropping on my D2 and you could hear the air bags deflating, i bought two brand new ones and fitted them yesterday (doddle of a job!) now... the drivers side is sitting much higher than the passenger side...

the pink plug behind the stereo has two wires attached... cut off the pink plug and attach these wires to your rear speaker outputs from the stereo (a bit or splicing will be involved) and there u go... rear door speakers workking! the other option if your handy enough is fitting a phono...

Sorted the smoking problem... disconnected the EGR valve electrical plug (near the PAS fluid tank) and took the vacuum line off it. the disco now goes like $h!t off a shovel and doesnt smoke! ill eventually take the EGR off completely and blank it off but for now this'll do!!

ill try that... inspection plate screws are pretty corroded... may have to drill them out and then either bolt or rivet the plate back on

hi all... when i come to my disco 1st thing on a morning i have to turn the engine over quite a few times until it starts... then when it does theres a small puff of black smoke... the rest of the day its fine and starts first turn of the key but it seems if i leave it for more than 6 or so...
