another air suspension problem...

ok, ive looked at all the other threads and im still confused...

the back end was dropping on my D2 and you could hear the air bags deflating, i bought two brand new ones and fitted them yesterday (doddle of a job!)
now... the drivers side is sitting much higher than the passenger side...
seems like the drivers side is in ORM mode and the passenger side is not, its that high!

ive checked the height sensors and no cracks, (but ordered two new ones just to be sure)

there are no leaks on the air system anywhere, not even in the compressor box.

the car was sitting level before i changed the airbags (once it had got up to pressure) but now its not :-S

any ideas guys?

i tried completely deflating them at the compressor end and disconnecting the battery for a couple of hours (thought maybe the ECU needed a boot up the a*se) but still it sits higher.

confused!!!

Did u disconnect the battery before u changed the bags? Anyway it seems that u need a calibration........first of all hook it to a nanocom or something and calibrate the sensors.....then u can keep the new ones for spare;).

Any local 4x4 garages? If not put a post up asking if anyone up your way has a Nanocom / Hawkeye... not sure you'll find someone else on Skye but you might on the mainland?

Or buy one!
