Thanks for advice but I think i have to get new locks, well at least two anyway. Any suggestions where i can get early defender/late series type locks with lift up handles on outside and remote "black flap" on inside. I dont need the handle bits just the lock part.

OK chaps, got the barrel out, replaced it and now the new barrel just spins round in the lock without actuating the locking mechanism. The door handles that I have are lift up handles on outside with lock directly above, and remote "pull style" handles on inside so I hope I don't have to replace...
