hello all, a question about my newly aquired landy - j reg 200tdi 110. anyhow, either my left leg got superstrong overnight, or there's someting up with my clutch. Have consulted haynes and it sounds like a problem with the hydraulic system - loads of travel, NO resistence and a biting point just off the floor - so heres the question. do you know of any tests that could narrow the field down to either slave or master cylinder, or is it just a case of bleed it all, replace/overhaul slave then if that don't work replace/overhaul the master.
Thanx for your help

Check for oil leaks, oil loss (clutch fluid), if yes its the slave

If no visible changes, oil seeping down the pedal then its the master.

I guess the washers have had it, get overhaul kits for both, repair system and add new oil.

If it doesnt hold get new cylinders
