hi all, managed to get a towbar yesterday for next to nothing but it had no electrics with it.does anyone know where to get the socket and harness plug,or would it be easier to buy a non landrover one and solder it up as i have found the wiring colours etc when i did a search. many thanks den

do a search and there is a thread that tells you how to repair it by drilling the rivets out and replacing them with bolts. i know it works as i did mine and not a drop has leaked since.:)

try checking the intake to the airbox that comes off the inner wing. i had a vibration at 30mph,replaced all the uj's and rubber doughnut,then found the two plastic push in screws had some off the air intake which should be tight against the inner wing. have not fixed this yet but tied the...

just replaced the rear doughnut as it was split and after a quick test drive the vibration seems to have gone. still intent to overhaul the ujs as i have bought the parts. should have really done this in the summer months but the ktm was much more fun.

i changed the plate and springs following advice/instruction from members on here and it was a doddle. just make sure you have the correct size rivets to put the cover back over the gearbox. in reality i have saved a fair few quid by following advice from this site and doing all of my own...

i purchased a new doughnut yesterday and the guy in the shop recomended this conversion. very helpful guy at cheviot 4x4.

mine has the same problem at the same speed.could not feel any play on the prop or uj's.intend to take prop off and have a good look.have checked the rear donut and it seems to have a split in it so will replace this first.
