    i can tell you there is a rubber seal between the windscreen and roof, cant remember about the rest..

    Hey, i recently got a 200tdi to replace my 2.5 petrol in my 90. its a disco 200tdi which the last owner had in his '86 110, he decided to replace all running gear and engine to 300tdi spec hence he sold me the 200tdi so it has most of the pipes extended and the modified exhaust and all done...

    200tdi pas pump bolt

    gettin to the fiddly bits of the 200tdi conversion my 2.5 petrols pas pump bolt doesn't fit the 200tdi's anybody know the part number of the disco 200tdi one? might be handier to buy new than go to scrappy if its cheapish! 200tdi pas pump on right in photo. oh and don't have the donor...

    Or try sitting the sump in an old tyre, thats how i moved my 200tdi. then I tied across top to ensure it didnt fall over

    is exhaust interfering with the body? a change in rpm will cause a change in frequency of vibration of anything with a bit of play in it! are engine mounts ok? (not cracked loose etc..) does the clutch slip or give any funny noises? have you checked to see if its a cracked brake disc etc..

    for me i removed the drivers side rubber mount completely, then jacked up gearbox slightly and slid engine in, tightened up bell housing then used hoist to lift drivers side mount as much as possible and insert rubber this was so easy i even decided to leave one of the little pivoting things...

    Got the fan off anyway.. used a mole grips, adjustable spanner and a hammer to tap adjustable around. Seems i just didn't try hard enough last time ;)

    lovely thanks for that! will prob be next weekend before i get the ****er in as iv no flat trailer to move engine to garage now :doh:
