    Lpg tune up

Knowing that stretch of motorway quite well I would say 12mpg is on the low side. The only time my P38 returned decent figures on lpg was on a steady run (18mpg approx) Around town I was lucky to see 12mpg. I used to have mine serviced annually, which was basically a filter change and tune up...

2002 4.6 (LPG) Vouge SE Only 69000 miles.

Sad day as the P38 has gone to a new home. We buy any car only knocked me down £100 of which £50 is the admin fee so for selling without any hassle I thought it was a fair deal. Only trouble is, they transfer the money to you straight away so I had to leave the car there and then and get a cab...

2002 4.6 (LPG) Vouge SE Only 69000 miles.

It has jumped by £400 in about 3 weeks (maybe winter premium?) and if they offer what they say I would be happy with that. Just think they will give it the big knock down on inspection. Also would rather it go to an enthusiast than a trader to just make a few quid.

    Ebay Search Title

Ebay has it's wasters but it gets what ever your flogging out there and seen. Just a case of ignoring the low lives and waiting for the 'decent folk' to come along. It only takes one to buy it. And I think you only pay a small fee if you don't flog it. Is selling motors the same as general...

    Ebay Search Title

Maybe people are finally realising what a good motor a well sorted P38 is and hanging on to them :) Definitely getting into the winter hike season. The valuation on mine has gone up £450 in 2 weeks on We Buy Any Car. If I thought they would meet the valuation I would be down there in a shot!!

    Ebay Search Title

I found 27. Just thought there would be loads more up for sale for some reason. I added 4.6 and got more results (31) than just putting P38 which included diesels as well but only returned 27, which made me think I was possibly missing loads.

    Ebay Search Title

I'm just looking for complete cars for sale for price comparisons. I've tried various titles but must be doing something wrong because I think there must be more P38's up for sale than I'm finding.

What do you guys and girls find the best search title when looking for P38's on Ebay. I don't seem to get many examples when I put Range Range P38 and use Cars as the category, I got more just putting Range Rover 4.6. Some came up in both searches and I lost track of what one's I'd already seen...

    Proud P38 Owner

+1 on the suspension being normal. The self levelling really can have a mind of it's own. If our P38 is reversed on to the drive (which I do) it will sit at that height without moving. It even does this when it's left in that position for over a week. This proves the system is air tight. However...

    We Buy Any Car

They do indeed ask for at least a months worth of MOT. 2 sets of keys, it has to be a runner, not an import and a few other minor terms. I've just done another valuation and added a common P38 issue, good old blend motors putting up the book symbol (listed as Air con damage) and a few...

    We Buy Any Car

To be honest an L322 was not top of my priority list. The P38 is SWMBO chariot and she will be using my D3 for now. I had a test drive of a new Transit the other day (Years since I drove a new van) and I have to say it seemed a much better driving experience than a 12 year old P38!!! Only...

    We Buy Any Car

Not in a particular rush and would be quite happy to plod on with it, it's reliable and LPG keeps running costs acceptable. I'm looking to sell my LPG Transit which covers lots of miles and I like to keep my vans and cars running on the same jungle juice (for various reasons;)) Thanks to Boris I...

    We Buy Any Car

That's good to hear. Did they offer a fair price in the 1st place or did he take a bit of a hit to avoid hassle?

    We Buy Any Car

I agree martyn and mine does tick all those boxes. But as we all know a second hand motor is only worth what someone is willing to pay and there don't seem to be many people around willing to pay £5K for a P38!! Although I haven't tried yet so who knows. Just basing it on higher valued P38's...

    We Buy Any Car

Has anybody on here used We Buy Any Car before to sell a vehicle. Their on line valuation has just valued my P38 at £3730. Now before everybody tells me to bite their arm off do they usually quote this figure and then pull the motor to pieces when they look at it and assume you've gone that...
