Very True, but I wasn't referring so much to the TAX, more the MOT.

I think the question they ask is +1 months MOT remaining....

They do indeed ask for at least a months worth of MOT. 2 sets of keys, it has to be a runner, not an import and a few other minor terms.

I've just done another valuation and added a common P38 issue, good old blend motors putting up the book symbol (listed as Air con damage) and a few scratches on the bumper under 10cm. Blend motors replaced at a garage must be around the £500 mark (official procedure) and a bumper respray must come in at least around £150? So for approx £650 worth of repairs they've knocked down the on line valuation by £21 to £3709. I know the on line thing has it limitations, but I can't help but think I'd be setting myself up for the big knock down.
