What do you guys and girls find the best search title when looking for P38's on Ebay. I don't seem to get many examples when I put Range Range P38 and use Cars as the category, I got more just putting Range Rover 4.6. Some came up in both searches and I lost track of what one's I'd already seen.

Just getting a feel for prices as the day draws nearer when we part with our lovely P38;)

You want to select Vehical Parts and Accessories then put in p38 brakes or whatever you are looking for.

When you get to the search screen select the arrow (from All Categories) scroll down and click on Vehical parts and accessories then select Search. When you get the Vehical Parts and Accessories up put in say p38 engine or anything you are looking for, you can put in Range Rover p38 ??

I'm just looking for complete cars for sale for price comparisons. I've tried various titles but must be doing something wrong because I think there must be more P38's up for sale than I'm finding.

I found 27. Just thought there would be loads more up for sale for some reason. I added 4.6 and got more results (31) than just putting P38 which included diesels as well but only returned 27, which made me think I was possibly missing loads.

Maybe people are finally realising what a good motor a well sorted P38 is and hanging on to them :)

Definitely getting into the winter hike season. The valuation on mine has gone up £450 in 2 weeks on We Buy Any Car. If I thought they would meet the valuation I would be down there in a shot!!

Search on range rover, click on cars from the left had list of sections, click on year, click 1995 and years through to 2002, that should give you the P38's listed from owners that can be bothered to enter the year when creating the listing

+1
Still have a saved search on my ebay account from nearly 3 years ago. Always have a quick scan to see what's going & what for.

worth 500 quid now then? :D

I'd go range rover
Fuel type all except diesel
Transmission all except manual
Specify maximum price to rule out the knightsbridge set
Choose sort order and save search.

.... Ignore all the p38s and buy a late classic

Dunno. If you click the "completed listings" box, ys get a good idea of what things are selling for.

Yeah on Ebay, but Ebay is not the real world it's where people go to get cheap stuff generally. And also go to get rid of crap, which is possibly more to the point. Traders only put their crap in auctions. Anything good either goes on the forecourt or on places like Autotrader.
