Quick question been away for a while as bought a 2007 supercharged that works - so far - but still have the p38 now the exhaust manifold gasket has blown will this have any effect on the running of the engine as it is running fine - sounds a bit mad but it certainly sounds manifold think it blew...

So the deed was done my beloved p38 which has been with me for 9 years is gone and is replaced with a 2007 s/c now running on winter tyres must say it is a pleasure to drive and am getting 10 mpg across the board so more than happy:D:D

Gents have an exhaust manifold bold sheared of flush with the head tried a carbide drill bit but no good it doesnt want to play any ideas?

4.6 running rough on petrol but ok on gas have reset adaptions and o2 sensors appear to be working running between 0.9 to 0.01 maf is showing when up to temp 23/24 kgs also no faults showing having said that gems doesnt give out that much info so I am thinking either o2 not switching fast enough...

Right boys chap off here came over with his 2001 p38 hooked it up and bingo reads the lot have to say bit miffed as he got more info off his Bosch than I did off my Gems but goes to show that the Lynx will work on any vehicle of that type .
