Hi fellas, more trouble, any ideas appreciate, had a slight wereing noise coming from drive train somewhere for ages but just recently under acceleration the craplander has started drifting to the right and then left under deceleration, VC seems fine, done the usual tests, do need new rear diff...

Got a td4 and just got a new battery, only my new one is rated at 75 ah and slightly smaller than the one I took out which was a 80 ah rating. Will it be ok as I did read somewhere that at an absolute minimum you should get 72ah, cheers.

Got a auto td4 which has just developed a faint wereing noise from some part of the drive train, more prominent when I let of the power, cant really hear it under acceleration, any ideas? Thanks in advance:mad:

Just changed my trans fluid, didnt use texaco used a motaquip ATF type D11, now car wines when i drive it, is this oil a suitable alternative all be it not quite as good as texaco or have i been given the wrong type of fluid all together, or will it wine till the fluid get fully distributed...

Help please, when i get my freeby on the boost it sounds, in the car, like ive put the heater fan on full, i know its not that but that's the sound i can hear, like there's an air leak under pressure somewhere, also allot of black smoke when boosting, im certain its not the actual turbo but more...

Electric heated mirrors stay on all the time even when the switch is of, removed the relay in the drivers side fuse box, made no differance, think this one only does the heated screen (correct me if im wrong). Need to know if there is a seperate one for the heated mirrors and its location if...

Just took of the door panel and the cable that winds the window is frayed, can just the cable be replaced or do i have to buy a new motor? Any other tips on removal and re fitting would be great to, thanks in advance:mil36:

Interior lights and reading lights not working when switched manually but the interior lights only work when the door is opened, also the heated screen switch and heated mirror switch dont work either, checked all fuses, even the ones under the bonnet but all ok, im stumped! any ideas greatfully...

Sorry boys and girls, want to clean/change my crank case filter, can some one give me a hand on its location? Can't find a clear description on here, or maybe its me just being a bit thick. The Pre burning fuel thingy seams to be on more often than not, i thought it should only come on if the temp was 5*c or less.It does go of but only when it feels like it, any ideas welcome? Many thanks:5bdupe:

When i close my sunroof it clicks and stops closing, so i have to give it a push to help it close fully. Sounds like a clicking sprocket, could this be the case? if so do i need to replace the stupidly over priced motor or is there another way? Your help would be most appreciated! Thanks.:mad2::mad:
