Have had the radio out and all looks ok behind. When it does cut out all goes quiet but you can turn the volume upto max and just about hear a tinny radio. When you turn off thats when you hear the squealing in the speakers like a rocket going into the distance.

I've switched the blower relays around and heater motor still blowing at full force. No scorching on the relays either. Manual dial turning fully to the left with all the blocks out on the display and air con light lit orange which I think means off.

I had exactly the same problem. Turned out to be the brake pedal switch, nice and cheap to replace so well worth doing.

Hi Chaps Radio on my 2001 P38 keeps cutting out after 25 minutes or so.Still get the display on the screen but no noise exept speakers crackling if I turn the volume control.Leave it for 45 minutes and it will work again for another 25. Any advice grateful.:confused:

Cheers for that GavB Bit of a layman on this, so if you use the EKA code via the drivers door then that will get the BeCM communicating with the ECU again??? I possess a quality power pack so no problems in that respect.
