After six Landrover free years, six years of trying to justify to the wife my idea of a car for "fun" she has finaly (partly) relented with a compramise, A "decent" (as she puts it) Landy for family use.. So here we are back again with a newish Freelander 2... And loving it.. I'M Back.. :D

I'm gonna need a radiator soon for my Disco 200 TDi, can anyone tell me, once I open up the frame with the intercooler, is the water matrix the same as other 200Tdi's (Defender) and what about 300 TDi's. I'm lookin on ebay at the moment and don't want to buy one that wont fit.. I'm sure...

Has anyone here tried to get the gearbox out of a Disco from underneath? I've done a classic Rangie in the past with the floor out. Is "floor out" the only option on a Disco. Maybe it could be done if the transfer box was removed first? Any thoughts? Thanks all for any input.

Just got home with my new toy "in tow", literaly, LOL... its an old Disco with no drive, bought on ebay localy and I'm hoping it'll not be much to get it driving... Time to get oily.. Looking forward to getting muddy again..
