:doh: I cant spell steering..
I've stripped my old steering box with a view to resealing it and putting it back on. Anyone interested in what a disco steering box looks like in bits...
First is the drop arm shaft.
2nd shows the type of wear that causes the box to leak, this one is unservicable in an ideal world although I will give it a try.
3rd Shows the bush that wears. These can be replaced but need reaming to size after fitting. Using an adjustable reamer you work bit at a time until the drop arm shaft is a good fit.
4th, Just the box in general and the top cover where the drop arm adjustment is done..
