i read that it is possible to remove timing cover without removing sump or head..im at that point now..i have removed all bolts from front .reason.... engine revving at 1500 rpm and everyone seems to agree that timing chain wrongly timed or maybe jumped somehow ..i bought it this way ...i cant...

hi just bought 4.0l rangerover head gasket job...on inspection found someone had previously helicoiled the block.durrrrrrrr...ok heres my question i want to screw an insert into the block...they are ten mill bolts..how thick is the wall in the block ..could i drill the hole out to 18mm ...well...

i have a bosch device sits right on top on inlet with pipes going into plastic air intake..it runs constantly even when car is switched off...it is connected either side of throttle body..ive tried disconnecting electrics but then car wont start..anybody had the problem /what is it doing.and why

Hello all Im hoping some one can help me get my 96 RR started,,,turns over very fast but just will not fire up..glow plugs good ..after applying glow plugs tries hard to catch but no go...any ideas ?????..how to bleed I suppose is best question.
