Diesel motor in Boat

I have bmw 2.5 motor and want to fit in boat ,,my problem is ? how will i control the throttle ,there are no controls on injector pump body ,is it easy to convert ecu from range rover so that i have control.. any leads gratefully taken,i ve fitted a few engines into boats and ive just never come up against this problem before..

I don't think theres a way of controlling the throttle without an ECU and I don't know of anybody who has the required knowledge.......






where are you located and how much do you want for the engine, provided its a M51?
