My D2 02 plate had a BMW fitting on the radio. A kind independent radio installer removed it for me. The holes needed a very long allen key fitting.

I've been thinking about getting a tirfor to use whilst laning. I am not sure what size to go for. The lifting/pulling weights are confusing. What's the right one for the job please? 1600Kg? :confused:

This happened to mine. I tapped the unit on the LHS and it's worked ever since - about 12 months now. Must have been a loose connection. Mind you, if that wasn't the case I would have had no idea how to effect a replacement bulb. There's no visible way in.

I was afraid of that. No short cuts to be had there then. :D

How do the challenge guys manage their leccy winches then?

Sorry, Mate, couldn't resist the temptation! The height is a compromise thing. The lift will give you better clearance for off-road use. The standard height will feel more comfortable on-road. Which do you do more of? Answering that question will give you a clue. I followed the same logic...
