hi all.Two years ago I changed the coils in my disco to heavy duty brit parts. i got a 5 centimeters lift. The question is whether i should go back to the original ones? For and against ,Thanks in advance.

Depends why you put the HD lifted coils on in the first place and why you think you need to return to standard ???

FFS do we sound like pyschics?? details man! DETAILS!! what do you use it for have you been happy with the 2" lift? why are you thinking of going back to Std? what size tyres are you using have you trimmed the body at all?? Give us some facts to work with

Sorry if I was not clear. There is no need to be intolerant.
All original teachability in my truck. I changed coils because I wanted the elevation. I feel the truck is more jumpy on road trip.
Worried about cracks in the body of the truck.
Is it improves the off road Capability or not? Appreciate the patience !:)

Any vehicle that has it's centre of gravity raised is going to be less stable at higher speeds. So if you don't need the height then take it back to standard and keep it that way especially if you are going somewhere, where getting spare parts might be difficult. As you might be able to find replacement standard parts but you are highly unlikely to find replacement +2" (50mm) springs and shocks, in the middle of nowhere.

Sorry, Mate, couldn't resist the temptation!

The height is a compromise thing. The lift will give you better clearance for off-road use. The standard height will feel more comfortable on-road. Which do you do more of? Answering that question will give you a clue. I followed the same logic for choosing tyres - I eventually went for all terrains as I decided I did 50:50 off-road : on-road. For the same reason I've not lifted the truck.
