    Fuel pump lever should have some resistance to it, but not be spring loaded. As long as the cam shaft is in the right position it should return to centre but not feel spring loaded. Can help on your second question

    ok, gets its worth holding off until I've replaced the door seal. if a door that doesn't fit the hole, must be a landy issue. Cheers for the advise. defcrazy. not 100% but the water stains on the paintwork seem to point to the door seal.. will double check the vent flaps this evening.
