i have a 99 v-reg diesel 5-door 15" alloys, and have just been offered a set of 17" alloys off a 02 3-door petrol. the guy tells me they will fit as the cars are the same shape (apart from 3 and 5 door), is he right, will they fit???

just done the vcu tippex test and props no longer line up, so ok there, fingers crossed! on trying to turn the rear wheel with it jacked up i noticed the rear diff flexing way too much, looks like the diff mount is u/s, so off to change that.. tyres ..i have two new ones on the front and odd...

i have a 99 diesel model which seems quite noisey when being driven at speed.. everything seem fine ,brakes steering etc but there is a lot of noise/vibration from the rear end... if i put it into neutral at speed the noise is still there.. any ideas ??

clouds of smoke and ACE warning light on, looks like a burst in the system near the exhaust, the reservoir has emptied so obviously the the leak/smoke has stopped.. is it safe to still use the car, i know the handling will be a little off but i don't want to cause any more problems !!

have had my td5 on the computer due to runnin on four cyl, fault is open circuit on No5. anyone any ideas as what it could be ?? which is No5 pot ? g/b or rad end of engine??

i had missing type of problem every now and again but this cleared itself if i turned the engine off and on a couple of times.. now the misfire is constant.. i have cleaned the ecu conections as there were signs of oil, but still missing.. could i be ready for a engine loom ?? any ideas...

hi, now and again my disco (99) seems to be running very uneven, more prominent when cold. it sometimes clears quite quickly but has been known to last the full 13 miles to work.. i have changed the fuel filter but i am now wondering about the engine harness !!! any advice pleae..would this be...

i have changed the filter near the rear wheel but i'm not sure of the location of the rotor filter, can anyone help please.

i am losing oil from around the pump area, i have secured all the fittings the best i can from underneath, but i can not seem to pin-point the source of the leek. does the pump unit itself leak from the seals as they wear / is it a case of renew the pump ?? thanks

i'm planning to change the clutch on my series 3 and wondered about lifting the engine out or droping the g/b... which is the more straight forward way to go?? i,m thinking g/b as i did in my disco but having never done a series i thought it better to ask!! thanks

having just found my n/s lense broken i was wondering if anyone was aware of any after market clear lenses as now would be a good time to justify purchasing them... or does anyone have a spare orange one??

hi, i think the title says it all, just bought a series 3 lwb with a full lengh galvanised roof rack and ladder.. just wondering will this fit on a 110 and/or maybe a disc 2 ??

my 99 td5 auto seems somewhat reluctant to change into top gear when cold, once warmed up it changes at around 55mph. would a g/b oil change be a help (do they have a filter?) any advice on getting into top before 55 ??

I have been offered a pair of later type headlights for my TD5, are these the only parts i need to do the conversion..do i need the grille etc ??
