My temp gauge keeps going from normal temp ( half way) to 1/4 and then back up to normal temp. Is it normal in this weather or is a sensor at fault?

Hi all, My disco has been running a bit roughly recently so dug out the nanocom and got faults on injectors 2,4 & 5 saying open curcuit (current). The loom was replaced about a year ago. Is it possible for oil to bugger it up so soon?

My Disco TD5 feels like it down on power and when under load (going up hills etc) it chucks out loads of black smoke (you can hardly see anthing behind the car!). It's got a new air flow meter and turbo hoses. what else could be causing this?
