    heater blower, help!

    You might need to replace the resistor?? Sorry I'm sure you can find a UK price. I bought a resistor from these guys and had no bother getting it. The blower worked on all 3 settings after the replacement. Range Rover A/C Blower Motor Resistor (Same Fit As Genuine Part # PRC8010)

    Mines is fuel flap release. Not that ye ever need to put fuel in a 3.9 :-P

    No harm in re-furbing your Alt as the cold heads our way. Another worth checking is your connections from starter motor to solenoid. Make sure they are clean and secure, the hefty brown wire from the Alt needs a good connection so get under and get it done. A small coating of petroleum jelly...

    When my aircon is switched on, my two AC fans come on at a fare pace. And yes they are the ones right behind the front grill.

    Problem Rattle!

    In drive, foot brake on, the vibration may go through the axle as there's "push" forwards. In neutral, no push. H/brake on, it's held from the gear/transfer box I'm sure, so there's no vibration through the axle. Worth a try?

    Only thing I can think of quickly is possibly harmonic weight?? (the big dumbbell that's attached to the front axle) mines rattled a bit for a while as it was coming loose.

    Yep, what he says :-) condensation/cold making the belt brittle and makes it slip a bit. Sometimes you get the battery light on to accompany it....... Let it heat up a little before driving off and see if that helps

    Mines sit used for pure luxury reasons so I don't mind it being that tad noisier as the burble can be heard better ...... Don't really notice if it's draughts or not. No signs of extra water getting in either. Also gave me the chance to coat it in waxoyl/sealer to prevent it rotting any further

    I ended up taking the rubber seal that runs along the bottom of the upper gate off...... It was failing so made it very difficult to close......... And yes the left of mine needs an extra shove to get it closed :-)

    Rev counter not working

    Mines is a '92 3.9V8....... Had trouble with rev counter in the past. The problem was connection on the alternator. I'm sure you get the signal from there but someone will correct me soon if I'm wrong no doubt......

    starting problem

    Don't swap too much over at once as then ye might not know exactly what the problem was. Have you checked rotor arm condition and movement? Also might be the ignition amp on the side of the dizzy. Notorious for failing due to its position as the heat eventually gets to it.
