Update Sometimes it just needs another pair of eyes. So my local Landy guru had my car for a bit and found something I hadn’t thought of. A blocked fuel filter! It was clogged with gloopy kakk. Engine back to normal but my fiddling has left KD out of adjustment so my guru is fitting a new KD...

I guess I need a 100A relay

has anybody wired their heater plugs through a relay and button? I have a Disco 300Tdi in a 110 but my heater plug light has never worked, so I thought I might wire a standard relay with a push button instead of the timer relay. Any advice?

Does anyone know if the KD cable should be full extended at full throttle? Should you feel the click at the end of the throttle travel?

So update, KD was wildly out of adjustment, so that was done but I am still having issues. On kickdown there is a hesitation and excess fuel is going unburnt into exhaust causing big plumes of white smoke. I used to have a woosh of power and black smoke????

Scrub that l, no hole in pipe!

It is a 110 rocker switch.

I have lost the tell tale light in my hazard switch and when I have looked I have only one of the push on side connections attached. Is this the wiring for the switch light?

Sorry to jump on this thread but I started to get a ticking like a slack tappet only to find my priming lever flying up and down making a ticking sound. Anyone else had this?
