Does anyone know about kickdown cable adjustments? I think my throttle cable went out of adjustment (or something else) but I messed with it and I have ended up losing my top end kickdown and boost.
All that happens now it my engine bogs down and becomes undriveable!!! I have disconnected the kickdown am now have a plain gutless Auto .
Can anyone help?

Discool is correct in that the info is in RAVE - it is also on the ashcroft site. I would advise against driving with the KD cable disconnected.

Has the KD cable snapped inside the box? What happens if you do a TQ stall test ( but don't do this if the KD is snapped!) ?

So update, KD was wildly out of adjustment, so that was done but I am still having issues.
On kickdown there is a hesitation and excess fuel is going unburnt into exhaust causing big plumes of white smoke.
I used to have a woosh of power and black smoke????

Sounds like a lack of air, check your turbo air rubber connection hoses, could be a delaminated elbow, check your air filter element, remove air inlet trunking from the turbo and see if the rotor turns freely.

Does anyone know if the KD cable should be full extended at full throttle? Should you feel the click at the end of the throttle travel?

Update
Sometimes it just needs another pair of eyes. So my local Landy guru had my car for a bit and found something I hadn’t thought of. A blocked fuel filter! It was clogged with gloopy kakk.
Engine back to normal but my fiddling has left KD out of adjustment so my guru is fitting a new KD cable I already had.
