I don't find it messy. Just a drop where I want it. Run under the tap soon cleans the black soap off.

Well reading this thread this morning. I didn't expext to be annealing some alli..... Had to pinch the washing up liquid from the kitchen...

I use gas. A drop of soap on the alli and heat until the soap is black. HTH

Buy a new radiator. Not likely. Straight into a rad specialist. New core and tanks for a 300Tdi the way I want them Land Rover do not make radiators. They buy from the flavour of the month. mike
