my rear offide wheel will not turn the other way as the other back wheel,instead it rocks slightly side to side ??? any ideas :(

i am going crazy :p i changed the fuel filter and now it wont start.primed up to the injectors .tried easy start but to no avail :( air in the fuel system i think ? also like the other guy on here there is a bangin sound when i try to start it.Previously it used to start every single time with...

i am going to cnange the rear axle on my series 3 88 .the one that will go on i know is good.i have had a look at busters photos but i was wondering if anyone has done this and what problems i can expect ? :)

Hallo !!! changed the fuel filter today and now it will not run,have primed the system but to no avail :confused: i think i have air in the fuel system and would like to know how i get rid of it.i have a series 3 88 1979 :rolleyes:

I have a problem wiv me 1979 series 3 88 diesel - the rear offside tyre will not move and i have done the following - checked the shoes,drum,springs...bled the brakes about 8 times.....checked the diifs and the half shaft....tried to adjust on the outside and inside but all are ok so now i am at...

ok jobs done this week so far 90% of painting done,heater now working:) changed alternator and starter motor :) put floors in driver and passenger side :) new battery:D and insulated the rear inside :) however still got to adjust the goddam brakes - anyone know what size spanner i will need...

i have found a spring underneath my series 3 88 ( diesel ) :doh:,almost halfway down and halfway across.The spring is of the fat type.it looks like i have found where the loose end goes but if anyone knows what this is spring is for please help :o

Evening folks, I have repaired the brakes on my series 3 with just 1 problem :confused: how do i get the rear x2 brake drums back on ? the front went good but these seem to have ' shrunk ' anybody help me :o

Hmm ! i know i am going to sound stupid but brakes are not my thing :doh:here goes,how do the springs fit on the rear brakes ( 10 inch ) as i have had a look and they are both different :confused: one side goes on the brake shoes the other side goes behind the shoes :eek: can anyone help...please.

:welcome2:Hi,i live in Basingstoke and currently have a series 3 88 diesel.it is currently stuck with a brake problem :( but once repaired it will be good :D.looking to join clubs and to keep this landy going and gradually improve :rolleyes:.
