air in fuel system

Hallo !!! changed the fuel filter today and now it will not run,have primed the system but to no avail i think i have air in the fuel system and would like to know how i get rid of it.i have a series 3 88 1979

i had that problem there is an air vent screw near the top of the fuel pump loosen that and prim till fuel comes out then do it up, after that loosen the one of pips to the injectors and get some one to turn it over till you see fuel coming out then do it up again and move on to the next one do all of them in turn that sould get the air out.

np dont forget to get the air out of the fuel pump 2 because if its fall of air it wont pump what i did was when i changed the filter for the first time i didnt prim it after and just started it and she ran fine for 30sec then died as you would expect so had to do all that and it started after the air was out
