plate on engine where bell housing bolts to are different but it can be changed, also the pipe is different so that will need changing

ok great cheers for that, both look the same but been told its the coil pack thats different just dont want to go and fit engine then it wont work lol

back from his hols now he's looking to get it fixed so tried starting it and started first time, he ran it around for few hrs and now wont start. looked into engine and noticed diesel on top of first 2 injectors on divers side, so are the injectors shot???? cheers

hello sorry comp been off line few days not staerter as it cranks and does start and run, last owner replaced the crank sensor so looking like the injectors cheers

ok great i'll let him know that and poss got hold of a couple of used injectors off a chap on here so hopefully alls good cheers for the advice

sorry guys but need a bit of help again went out in it today after fitting the new master cylinder and noticed a light kick when going into first or reverse, the gears are fine on the move or when going into a rolling first but when i have to stop and go into first it kicks is this a slave...

if its the 1.8 or early L series look at slave bracket on gearbox, my old L series plate was rusted and started to bend, failing that new master cylinder as just gone through same thing this week

part came and fitted it back on the road, would like to know what was wrong with the one i borrowed but just pleased i'm mobile again and for only £60 cheers for all the help guys
