i am about to change the headlight bulbs for new ones. can anyone recommend a brighter bulb?. do the blue ones live up to the claims made by the manufacturers?. cheers den

my 300 tdi had a similar problem. it was one of the track rod ends. had it done at the mot and cost next to nowt.

not me and my dog tho!

hi all. have used this forum to solve most of my minor problems using the search,but cannot seem to find anything on this. i have a 96 300 tdi which has a vibration at 30 mph but only when in 4th gear. it sounds like something against the bulkhead but i could not find anything apart from some...

i think there is a plug from the ignition barrel.i plugged mine back in and wished i had not.

with some good advice from here i sorted my passenger door. it was the pin on the door pillar needed a slight adjustment.

i followed the various threads to get it working but now it has packed in. does the amp have a fuse somewhere? tempted to fit a couple of 6 x 9's in the door instead. any ideas/advice more than welcome.

adjusted the pin and managed to get a couple of mm on it and it seems to have worked. then the central locking would not unlock far enough so i popped the door card off and moved the actuator back a touch and everything seems ok. thanks for all your help.

i know there has been so much about this subject so i will keep it simple. is it worth using a repair kit off ebay or just renewing the full dash?. also how is the steering wheel removed?

im having problems with the passenger door on my 300tdi. to open it for the first time after unlocking the door has to be pushed in. does the catch need adjusting?,if so how do you do it?. i had a rave disc but cannot find it so its trial and error. can someone steer me in the right direction...

i live near the weardale off road centre and was told that the pay and play days had been stopped a couple of years ago.have they started again or is it private club hire only?.was great fun in my old range rover and enduro bikes.

hi all,picking up 300 tdi today. have had a classic range rover and freelander in the past but this is the first discovery.
