peeling dash

i know there has been so much about this subject so i will keep it simple.
is it worth using a repair kit off ebay or just renewing the full dash?.
also how is the steering wheel removed?

1. Use a kit off Ebay, very straightforward to do;

2. Assuming it hasn't got an airbag, remove LR centre logo, undo large nut, then "persuade" the wheel off.
