    Hi Folks, Having problems getting 2nd gear, it just crunches in. Strangely though it selects fine at stand still, it's only when moving. 1,3 & 4 all ok, although sometimes 1st can be a bugger selecting (very tight). Also has fairley overdrive which works fine in all gears. Do you reckon this...

    Hi folks, Wondered if you could advise. My 83 2.25 diesel is really smokey at startup and for longer than 10 secs. But once it's been running for a short while it's fine. Any suggestions as to what could be causing this? I'm new to diesel engines only ever had petrol. Not sure how to setup...

    Hi folks, I've just changed my Series 3 petrol LWB for a Series 3 diesel SWB. It's my first diesel .... ever! It's smokey, especially at startup but stays smokey pretty much during normal running too. Rather than me assuming engine fault, is there a good chance this could be the injectors...

    Hi folks, Not long bought an ex MOD 109 series 3 and I'm getting a few things done ready for running through the winter. Top of the list is the heater fan which is completely goosed. Can't see any on fleabay and wondered if you guys had any tips on where I could get one, or is this a new job...

    I think I may have found the cause of the excessive play in the steering. Looks like the steering bearings are shot. Once replaced I'll check the steering box and track rod ends but expect this will get rid of a good amount of play.

I'm certainly not expecting car like driving habits but would be surprised that so much play was standard from new but if you're saying all Series III have 1.5" half of play then I guess I need to get...
