can anyoune tell me how to adjust my handbrake as it is crap and the discs and pads are nearly new its a 200 series 2.5 tdi on a 93 L reg

its done i had to do it myself the pump was 360 degrees out plus one tooth on the belt but the guy has ruined my pump housing as i cant get it to stop leaking

managed to get my disco running first ever time i set the timing on any engine but its running very rough and smoking like hell the two timing marks are bang on so is it the pump timing

is there anyone in the area of sheffield who canshow me how the hell to get the timing right on mt 2.5tdi discovery all the tea you can drink and sarnies you can eat and my whole thanks for any help will even pay as the guy i just piad looks as if he hasnt got a clue

theres diesel there ,so i need to tell the mechanic the timings not right yet thanks for the help rob

is there anyone in this fair land who can tell me how to get my disco running its just hadnew injectors heater plugs timing belt all set right by a mechanic , all electrics checked the lot will not run for love nor money

the timing belt went on my 200 2.5tdi disco and done all the new work valves belts etc and it still wont start theres diesel getting through and everything electrics been tested , even used easy start but nothing no misfire no nothing not even made the effort to start, changed heater plugs...

try the thermostat also as a precaution , was there pressure in the pipe

the nut will not budge in gear hand brake on the job lot but all its doing is moving the thing up the street as i turn it everything else is off and been sorted but cant get to the timing belt. do i need the puller after i got the nut off yeah thanks for the repley

so long as the hazzards work and you dont go on the the motorways and put on tow so it can seen from the back. if the lights wont work then use a back board. there is a question for you na pal my timing belt just gone a my L reg disco how do i get the bottom pulley off
