Good afternoon, Can anyone recommend a one piece door seal that will fit a 1980 series 3 swb I was recommended to use the Britpart defender doors seal but when I got them and cut out for door catch and windscreen bracket /bolt the door will not shut it seems worse on the hinge side of the door...

Thanks for the replies steve2286w I did hone the cylinders,and Extreedoc I managed to make a small pin and fitting to fit flywheel for timing, what a pain but I will try what you said,. what and how did you do it and by how much to be sure.I wont do any damage thanks Steve

Hi does any body know if you can buy chequer plate one piece lower door/body sills for my swb series 3, and if so were. I have seen them in pictures but they seem to be on later defenders.Thanks Steve

Hi could someone please tell me which way round the window tops to door rubber seal go as mine did not have any on when I bought landy.I have tried various ways but not sure .Tried with the lip on rubber seal side up but it then covers the drain holes on window tops.Hope this makes sense...

Hi ,never been on road yet I bought this landy nearly two years ago to restore /new chassis bulkhead. axle swivels .brakes , master cyl,wheel cylinders.drums etc.now about1/4 way finished.Regards Steve
