Good evening, Can some one please advise me as to which power/amps of relays I will require to power low beam and main beams of my standard series 3 head lights. and a wiring diagram thanks Steve

In terms of amperage, it is simple to work out, it is the wattage of your lights divided by 12 v. So if your lights are 60 watts your power will be 5 amps. It's always best to get a higher rated relay though so double your power rating. The relay should come with a basic wiring diagram in the instructions. I've never fitted one so I don't have a diagram.

I think the standard automotive relays readily available are rated at 30amp, which is more than enough to run a pair of lights form. I would recommend getting fused relays, but that is just my preference.
You will need two relays, one for main beam and one for dipped, but with a 30amp you will be bale to run both headlights form the same relays rather than needing separate ones for each side.
