series3 door/window top/to door rubber seals

Hi could someone please tell me which way round the window tops to door rubber seal go as mine did not have any on when I bought landy.I have tried various ways but not sure .Tried with the lip on rubber seal side up but it then covers the drain holes on window tops.Hope this makes sense Thanks Steve

I’d have said lip down to stop it collecting water. I can’t remember when I fitted mine a couple of years ago but I did use a smear of black silicone to help.

When I fitted new door tops a couple of years ago, I fitted one of the seals upside down, or the wrong way round and it sticks out a bit but I can't be arsed to redo it. To be honest, rain will find its way in no matter which way you put the seal in.
