It's done with a suitable diagnostic reader.
I deactivate mine using my Gap IID BT, but you can use JLR SDD with a mongoose lead too. Or a you could get an LR main dealer to do it for you.

You would most likely have to take it to dealers to have it removed, unless you have an hawkeye or SDD which i think nodge knows about. have you read through the manual?

I thought this could be done by pressing unlock on the remote.
or possibly through the menu.....or is this just the newer versions ?

I know it's possible to change the locking from driver's door only to all door unlock using the remote.
I stopped drive away locking on mine using my IID BT, to reconfigure the CJB. I believe only higher level diagnostic equipment can do it, or a dealer who would use SDD.
