Another TD5 none start problem

Updated info, been a while i know, work done since this last post! injector seals and washers (injectors were out of adjustment), new fuel pump, new starter motor fitted, removed inlet manifold to gain access to the fuel block, have a replacement fuel block and new gasket to fit this weekend as well as new manifold gasket, while in the area i removed the 4 glow plugs to test them, 3 were dead (obviously not going to help) new set ordered ready for the weekend, hopefully i will have some good news on this after the weekend work is completed, also pricing up a new battery as i think mine is on the way out

All parts refitted, still no joy, ordering a new battery this week hopefully that will help as 3 days of charging mine and the tester still said bad battery
 
Been told my battery has arrived, hoping to fit it this week if the rain will hold off, then i can do a compression test and make sure i have compression. i dont feel lack of compression is my issue but will be another thing to check off the list right! testing through the glow plugs, i know there is only 4 but at least if i have a good reading on the front 4 cylinders it should at least start.
 
Another update, new battery fitted, went to turn over and the engine locked solid!

Removed glow plugs and turned over, diesel now everywhere, but engine turned over. So next step is to get some money together and send the injectors for testing!
 
If you removed the glow plugs and cranked it but didnt remove the fuel pump relay it's normal for diesel to get in there, also if you pushed the throttle while you kept cranking it and the engine didnt start it's not uncommon to hydrolock the engine.

Just for reference it didn't even turn over a full turn before locking up

But did you crank it before that when you had the glow plugs removed or kept the throttle down while trying to start it before that? if yes it's possible that the fuel was already there

sorry for the slow response, been a bit hectic. the last time i had tried to start it, it was turning over fine, i never press throttles when im cranking a vehicle. as it stands at the moment im awaiting a price to test my injectors, in the meantime im going to do a compression test, to make sure all is good there!
