Hi really need a new master cylinder , but I have found a seal kit in my garage stc500090 I see some people are sell it as a master seal and a clutch seal kit. To save me swearing and wasting time ect finding out this does not fit ect, does anyone know if that the correct seal kit? It's a 1989 2.5 td

Ok, we have a date and the type of engine, but not the model. So the link below gives the Land Rover models that STC500090 is suitable for.

If its an ally master I would not bother changing the seals as the bores wear. Works OK in cast iron as only the seals wear. You may be lucky but its annoying to strip it down and find a step in the bore.
