Defender Brake Light Issue

Hi, I have a 1994 defender 110SW, i have recently changed the side lights, brake lights, reversing light & number plate light to Wipac LED's. the issue i'm getting is when the main lights are off the Brake Lights work fine switching with the brake pedal as they should however when i switch the main lights on the brake lights come on and stay on. any ideas? assistance greatly appreciated.

Cheers Scooby22, will have to look into this a bit further, may be fit a standard bulb on a high level centre brake light, all points towards load on the circuit.

Did you ever get this fixed? I have the exact same issue but can't work out what's wrong.
