Had the dreaded two amigos on the dash - TDC/HDC.
At this stage brake lights worked as normal.
Took out brake light switch - which practically disintegrated in my hand and replaced with new.
Reconnected all wires as before.
Warning lights now gone but brake lights aren't working.
Need to get sorted so I can book MOT.

Should also mention that fuses are OK.

Did you adjust it? Switch is normally made and breaks with pedal released. Slide down to pedal with hand pressing pedal down and a ratchet self adjusts when you release pedal.

Leave wired up, twist and remove switch lights should light. Otherwise you are into checking voltage and tracing circuit. Could it be all bulbs blown ?? Possible.

All sorted.
Took switch out, pulled out plunger, put back in & reset - brake lights on permanently, switch off when I press brake pedal!
Took out, reset plunger again, all working as normal 👍
